If your child loves animals, rescues bugs, or plays pretend as a vet, they’re ready to become a Little Guardian—a playful, hands-on afterschool journey where kindness leads the way and every creature matters. Created just for ages 5–7, this program helps young animal lovers learn how to care for pets, protect wildlife, and speak up for the animals they love—all through crafts, games, and teamwork.

It's gentle, joyful, and full of little missions with a big heart.

 

🧭 How It Works

Each week, kids become “Animal Helpers” through imaginative missions that build empathy, creativity, and simple problem-solving skills.

Each session features a playful “Animal Mission” designed just for little hands and growing minds:

Make animal care posters, kindness cards, or storybooks to teach others how to treat pets with love.

🦔 Build a Bug Hotel
Learn why bugs matter, then create cozy “bug houses” from recycled materials.

🧸 Pet Vet Pretend Play
Explore how vets help animals and set up a pretend vet clinic with plush toys and DIY bandages.

🐦 Bird Buddy Builders
Create simple bird feeders and learn what different birds like to eat in your area.

🎭 Kindness Puppet Theater
Put on mini puppet shows about helping lost pets, showing kindness to strays, or standing up for animals.

🦋 Wildlife Rescue Rangers
Play interactive games about helping animals in trouble (like picking up litter to save turtles or making safe spots for bees).

 

🎉 Little Guardians Celebration

At the end of the program, families are invited to the Little Guardians Showcase—a joyful event where kids:

🧸 Show off their pretend vet stations or puppet shows
